Dimapur, Feb. 5 (EMN): The deputy commissioner of Dimapur, Rajesh Soundararajan, has reminded the public and the traders to follow Covid appropriate behaviours for the safety of one and all and warned that a fine of INR 200 would be imposed on the defaulters and also book those going against the government’s order for stringent action.

A DIPR report mentioned that announcement are being made on daily basis from May last year till date for creating awareness and constantly remind the public to follow the standard operation procedures (SOP). It added that several defaulters were booked and penalised with joint effort of DTF Dimapur and police. It stated that several defaulters have been remanded at the East and West Police stations including the women cell and appropriate actions were initiated as per law.

The deputy commission also informed that announcement for constant reminder and awareness and masks duty for penalising the defaulters would continue. He, therefore, appealed to the public and traders to be responsible by adhering to the guidelines issued by the government with regard to Covid-19 for the safety and interest of one and all.
