Dimapur, August 6 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner, Dimapur, Kesonyu Yhome, has appreciated members of Dimapur District Disaster Management Authority (DDMA) and other officials for rendering commendable service during the recent flood in Dimapur. He has particularly thanked the troops of 32 Assam Rifles for their various supports and rescue works in Ekyo Yan (Domokia).
The Deputy Commissioner expressed gratitude to various organisations during the monthly meeting of the Dimapur District Planning and Development Board held on August 5 in his office’s conference hall.
Besides welcoming all the members, the Deputy Commissioner reminded the officers to ensure success of their respective assignments.
While referring to the Office Memorandum (OM) issued by P&AR with regard to recording of APARs of the district head offices, Kesonyu informed all the concerned that the reporting aspect has to go through their respective HODs.
The house, after deliberation and also basing on the verification report from the concerned officer, recommended for registration of Nagaland Body Building & Fitness Association.
In the meeting, Excise department made presentation on the department activities. Meanwhile, the Board has entrusted Urban Development and Lead Bank to give present their departmental activities in the next DPDB meeting.
