DC Dimapur briefs editors

[caption id="attachment_160482" align="aligncenter" width="565"] DC&DEO Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, briefing editors/representatives of print media, proprietors of cable tv and printing presses of Dimapur on January 20.[/caption] Dimapur, Jan. 20 (EMN): Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel, while briefing on Model Code of Conduct (MCC), urged the editors of print media, proprietors of cable TV and printing presses to strictly adhere with the guidelines regarding advertisement, paid news, telecast of political news and printing of pamphlets. The DC stated this during a meeting held on January 20 in his office’s conference hall. In the meeting, DC Dimapur along with AEO Dimapur briefed all concerned about the Model Code of Conduct and urged them to adhere with provisions of the law with regard to advertisement, paid news, telecast of political news and printing of pamplets. The members present in the meeting clarified their doubts from DC and DEO Dimapur, Sushil Kumar Patel and Assistant Election Officer Dimapur Rolland Merry.
