DBYO launches traffic awareness campaign

DIMAPUR — The D Block Youth Organisation (DBYO) has initiated an awareness campaign for drivers and riders on the colony’s one-way road.

According to a press release issued by the DBYO, the colony road is narrow, with many vehicles parked on the roadside, leading to congestion due to non-compliance with traffic rules.

In light of this issue, the youth, in collaboration with the traffic police, is implementing measures to streamline lane discipline and raise awareness about adhering to the 'two-wheelers on the right and four-wheelers on the left' rule.

The youth appealed to all drivers and riders to adhere to established traffic rules for the safety of vehicles and pedestrians. They also informed that awareness campaigns on discipline regulations had commenced as of May 6.
