DB Job Fair 2026 in Dimapur shortlisted 36 candidates after bringing together employers and job seekers to promote youth employment and career opportunities.

DIMAPUR — The DB Job Fair 2026 was organised by the AIDA–Don Bosco Job Placement Network (DB JPN), Dimapur, in collaboration with Salesian College of Higher Education, on Saturday at the college campus in Kuda Village, Dimapur.
The event was also supported by the Salesian Cooperators–Dimapur Province, DBYES Dimapur Province, the District Employment Exchange (Model Career Centre), Dimapur, the National Career Service Centre (NCSC) for SC/ST, Kohima, and the NCSC for Differently Abled, Dimapur, according to an update.
The job fair aimed to bridge the gap between employers and job seekers by providing a common platform for aspiring candidates to interact directly with recruiters, participate in interviews, and explore employment opportunities across various sectors.
It also sought to promote youth employment by offering access to jobs within Nagaland, across India, and selected international opportunities.
The programme began with the registration of participants, followed by an orientation on the recruitment process conducted by the organising team.
Around 70 job seekers from different districts of Nagaland and neighbouring states attended the event. Participants included fresh postgraduates, graduates, diploma holders, skilled professionals, and individuals seeking career advancement.
During the orientation, candidates were briefed on interview etiquette, employer expectations, and the employment opportunities available at the fair.

Several organisations representing diverse industries participated in the recruitment drive. These included Talent Acquaintance, Employment Providers, Reliance Jio, Flywayy Dimapur, SBI Life Insurance, Ohaa International School, and Tolins Tyres Pvt. Ltd.
While most recruiters conducted face-to-face interviews at the venue, Ohaa International School and Tolins Tyres Pvt. Ltd. held interviews online, enabling candidates to participate virtually and expanding access to employment opportunities.
Throughout the event, candidates submitted resumes, attended multiple interviews, interacted with human resource representatives, and gained insights into career growth and workplace expectations.
Recruiters offered vacancies in telecommunications, sales and marketing, customer service, insurance, education, manufacturing, technical support, and administrative roles.
The organisers said the event also helped participants understand current industry requirements and build confidence through real-time interview experiences.
The job fair concluded with 36 candidates being shortlisted for the next stages of the recruitment process.
According to the organisers, the response from both employers and job seekers reflected the growing demand for structured employment initiatives in the region.
Besides facilitating recruitment, the event also strengthened networking among employers, educational institutions, and placement agencies, creating opportunities for future collaboration.
