DAYO fetes Nagaland DGP

DIMAPUR — The Dimapur Ao Youth Organisation (DAYO) has congratulated Nagaland Director General of Police (DGP), Rupin Sharma, for his well-deserved recognition and being awarded the prestigious President’s Medal for distinguished service on the occasion of 75th Republic Day celebration.

“The unwavering commitment, dedication and exceptional service rendered by the people’s DGP, have not only contributed to the safety and security of the region but have also set a commendable standard for law enforcement professionals nationwide especially in containing drugs and substance abuse, drugs trafficking and extortion in Nagaland. This prestigious honor is a reflection of your relentless effort and exemplary leadership in upholding law and order in the state of Nagaland,” DAYO said.

DAYO stated that its commitment for unity and justice resonated with his core values in addressing multifaceted issues that impact the society. It also expressed continued support toward his endeavours in maintaining rule of law, thereby creating a safer and more secure environment for all residents of Nagaland.

DAYO further congratulated Medozhalie Pienyu, deputy commandant general of Home Guards and Civil Defence, on being awarded the coveted President’s Medal for distinguished service.
