Darts introduced at Kros College on National Sports Day

DIMAPUR — On National Sports Day, the Dynamic School of Darts, under the aegis of the Nagaland Darts Association, conducted a darts introduction and installation ceremony at Kros College, Kohima.

According to a DIPR report, Imjungmeren of Dynamic School of Darts, speaking on the occasion, provided a brief history of the sport in the state and congratulated the college, noting that Kros College is the first educational institution to introduce darts in its sports event.

Vikhor Tepa briefed the attendees on the rules and regulations of the game. Members from the Dynamic School of Darts and Nagaland Darts Association, including Wabang Paul, Neibei Solo, Aomeren, Imjungmeren, and Neiketou Suohu, provided hands-on training and demonstrations.

It was also decided that Kros College will send five of its best players to the annual Nagaland Darts Association tournament, which will be held on September 14 and 15 at La Colline, Old Minister’s Hill. As a welcome gesture, the association agreed to waive the registration fees for the participants from Kros College.

In addition to darts, taekwondo was also introduced on the occasion.
