DAKK members urged to foster unity

Diphupar Area Kewhimia Krotho (DAKK) has organised its 3rd general meeting at Diphupar local ground on February 8 at 11 a.m. with Neivor Rutsa, Chairman of Kohima Village Council, as the chief guest. In his speech, the chief guest advised all the members present to be more prompt and respect each other and also encouraged DAKK to organise such event or gathering frequently so that it will bring more unity among members. He also urged the people to love, respect and count their sisters those who are married to other communities.
He also suggested the members of DAKK to visit their native village (Kohima village) once in a year or two and to seek blessings from the elders.
The programme was attended by around 300 members. The chief guest was accompanied by his team of council members, GBs, VDB members, Kohima Village Woman Organization, KVYO and KVSU. Other members present included members from Kudawhi Krotho, Kudawhi Thenuoko Krotho, Chumukedima Kewhimia Krotho and Diphupar Angami community.
The program was chaired by Esabel Solo and Neivinuo Dzuvichu. Avi-ii Miachieo pronounced the invocation, while K Kezha Dzuvichu delivered his presidential and welcome address, and the secretary report was delivered by Vilalhounuo Belho.
Special numbers were also presented by Levinuo Solo and party, Thepfusanuo Belho, and Neizovoii Miachieo while Neikio Suokhrie presented Methaneilie dialogue.
Short exhortation was delivered by Neivosea Dzuvichu, Head GB of Kohima Village. The vote of thanks was delivered by Neibu Phewhuo.
It has also elected new team of office bearers headed by K Kezha Dzuvichu as president, Pelhoubalie Khezhie as vice president, Villalhounuo Belho as general secretary, Kezevinuo Suokhrie as joint secretary, Roukuolhoulie Usou as treasurer while Neibu Phewhuo, Votso Suokhrie and Peleo Mechieo were elected advisors.
