Cyberpunk 2077 news: Five vehicle classes, four fashion styles and one Porsche 911
Dimapur, Oct. 16 (EMN): Cyberpunk 2077 just released the fourth episode of Night City Wire yesterday, Oct. 15 and it was one hell of a ride.
Yesterday’s episode focussed heavily on the vehicles players will be able to ride in Night City and the visual styles that players can customise their character with once they enter the world of Cyberpunk 2077. We always knew that vehicles and clothing would play a big part in the whole Cyberpunk 2077 experience but the sheer magnitude of options blew our minds.
Five classes of vehicles
In the world of Cyberpunk 2077, players will get to choose from five different classes of vehicles for their transportation needs. The five categories are: Economy, executive, heavy duty, sport and hypercars.
Economy cars are the most cheap and affordable options for players who may be a little light on cash. These cars don’t pack a lot of power, style and speed but they will get the job done. Executive cars on the other hand are expensive with plush interiors and decked out with the latest tech. Heavy duty vehicles consists of armoured trucks and tanks – useful especially when you need power and brute force. Sports cars are highly customisable vehicles with a wide variety of modding options for players to “pimp” their ride as they see fit. Hypercars are the crème de la crème of vehicles you can own in Cyberpunk 2077. These cars are super expensive, high-tech, armoured and very fast. As V puts it in the video, “Not your typical urban vehicle…”
In Cyberpunk 2077, players will be able to summon their cars in a similar way Geralt summons Roach in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. Players will be able to drive their cars in both first- and third-person perspectives. All cars in Cyberpunk 2077 can be either stolen or purchased outright depending on the player’s choice.
Four fashion styles
Aside from vehicle classes, the episode also delved on the four distinct fashion styles that players will experience in the world of Cyberpunk 2077. The visual styles are: Kitsch, Entropism, Neomilitarism and Neokitsch.
In the “2077 in style” video, the narrator says, “This chapter is devoted to so-called styles deeply linked with the history of the world and a very important aspect of life in the city. You can find them everywhere: in cars, clothes, guns, implants…they are your war paint.”
The Kitsch style is all about neon hair, illuminated tattoos and chrome. Looks matter more than functionality in the Kitsch way of fashion. Entropism is a style that rose up after the fourth corporate war. It only cares about functionality and looks are deemed as unimportant. Entropism is all about simple yet functional urban style.
Neomilitarism is based on sleek corporate militaristic fashion. Its motto is “substance over style.” This fashion style is mostly seen among the higher class of citizens. Neokitsch is a fancier version of Kitsch worn by celebrities and rich kids. It is about returning to the roots of Kitsch but with a fresh take on the old style.
Johnny Silverhand’s Porsche 911
The episode also revealed Johnny Silverhand’s prized ride: A dystopian sports car based on the iconic 1977 Porsche 911 Turbo (930). According to a report from Carbuzz, “CD Projekt Red collaborated with Porsche to design a unique dystopian 911 as the perfect ride for Johnny Silverhand, a famous rockstar played by Keanu Reeves.”
Players will be able to ride the iconic car in the game and the car will feature high-tech enhancements like futuristic license plates, modified fuel system, LiDAR and sensors for autonomous driving, hybrid gearbox etc.
Every legend needs a car just as legendary as they are.

Arch motorcycle
CD Projekt Red revealed another surprise in the episode. Actor Keanu Reeves who plays Johnny Silverhand in the game was approached by CD Projekt Red to use one of the custom motorcycles from his company Arch Motorcycles in the game.
In a new behind the scenes footage, Keanu and Arch co-founder Gard Hollinger revealed that Cyberpunk 2077 will feature a motorcycle inspired by their custom made Arch Method 143 bike. The audio for the motorcycle in the game has been captured directly from Method 143.
Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most anticipated games of the year and CD Projekt Red has been revealing more information about the game as launch day approaches. It had recently announced that the game had gone gold and the final version is ready for launch.
Cyberpunk 2077 launches on November 19 for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC.
