CSS implementing depts informed to complete PFMS process

Dimapur, August 3 (EMN): The Public Financial Management System (PFMS), an online financial management platform for all the funds released under all schemes by the Government of India. The funds released are being tracked on real time basis since 2014-15. However, implementing Departments/Agencies of the state are yet to register in the PFMS portal as directed, which is drawing adverse attention of the Government of India and the State Government has been warned for non-compliance. This was informed by the Finance Department Budget and Monitoring Cell in the AHoDs and HoDs meeting held at Secretariat Conference Hall on July 31.
Many Departments are aware that release of funds from the Government of India will totally depend on PFMS compliance. Registration in the PFMS portal is imperative, therefore all CSS implementing departments have been requested to complete the process at the earliest.
It has further informed that a dedicated PFMS team has been stationed in the State Finance Department on deputation from the office of the Comptroller General of Accounts, Ministry of Finance, Government of India.
Any issue related to PFMS may accordingly be brought to the notice of the Finance Department without further delay so that possible help will be extended for compliance.
