CSS holds interface meeting with govt. departments

Dimapur, May 29 (EMN): Family counselling centre under Care and Support Society (CSS) has organised an interface meeting with women and child related departments on May 24 in office premises.
Dinesh Gupta, SDPO Mokokchung, gave a short speech relating to children in distress and presented information about the scenario of children in need of care and protection in Mokokchung. It was informed that more than thirty percent of children in India remain unreached and went missing and how missing children were dragged in some parts of India.
He stated that Addhaar card with the help of bio metric finger print, lost child can be located. He stated that a unique chip called RIFD tag is given to a child in order to track how far a child goes and the length of time a child is missing. He inform that at least seven to eight children were reported missing in Mokokchung district alone adding three children were not located till today.
Ms Talisangla, CDPO (North), gave brief information on the benefits and services to children and women, while Makshi Jamir, representative from CMO, shared on programme and schemes related to women and children like PMSHA, JSY, and ARSH.
The interface meeting was chaired by Imchawati Kichu, managing director of Care and Support Society.
