Dimapur, Sep. 19 (EMN): Nagaland Chief Secretary, Jane Alam, inspected the ongoing 200-bedded hospital project construction at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR) on September 18.
A DIPR report stated that he made a brief outline on how the project was initiated in the state war room during the peak of Covid second wave. He expressed satisfaction with the progress of the project, which got started in the month of June 2021.
He also lauded the team and the implementing agencies for delivering the best service and expressed optimism that the project would be completed within a month and be inaugurated tentatively during the 1st week of October.
During his first visit, Alam was impressed at the availability of resources and facilities and remarked that CIHSR has a dedicated team led by its director, Dr. Sedevi. With availability of the state-of-art facilities, he stated CIHSR could be compared with hospitals in other cities.
He was accompanied by the health secretary, principal director of Health and Family Welfare, chief engineer (housing), NSDMA Johnny Rongmei, project in-charge Sanjay Jaiswal, Dimapur deputy commissioner, and CMO Dimapur and officials from Glocal company.
