Wokha, April 2 (EMN): In the first match of the day CRSU beat Fifteen Chord 2-0 at the ongoing LSU Martyr’s Trophy in Wokha on Tuesday. Steve Shitiri and Mhonthung scored a goal each for CRSU.
Humtso Village Students’ Union locked horns with Lotha Middle Range Students’ Union (LMRSU) for the second match where LMRSU registered win by one goal from Nyan (72).
The third match saw New Colony Youth Organisation (NCYO) thrash Saron Colony Youth Organisation (SCYO) 5-1. Chonben scored two goals for NCYO while Khekuto scoring the first goal with Pito Zhimo scoring the second and Mhabemo scored the fifth goal. Meanwhile an own goal from NCYO could not help SCYO to withstand against NCYO strikers.
The forth match was played between Mascot FC and Kickers FC. On the first half both the teams were level with two goals each. A come back in favour of Kickers FC in the second half lead the game with two goals registering a 4-2 win over Mascot FC. John scored both the goals for Mascot FC at 10th and 23rd minute while Renbemo scored a hat trick (3, 14 and 53 minute) for Kickers FC and Thungchibemo (64) scored the last goal.
