Dimapur, Oct. 23 (EMN): Chozuba Range Public Organisation (CRPO) has disassociated and declared unauthorised association of the so called 2-lane Aggrieved Property Owners Association (2LAPOA) for criticising policies or making unethical, provocative and divisive statements which is being circulated to various authorities through press statement, social media and public meetings.

An update from the organisation president Ketipra Lohe and the general secretary Ravotso Keyho stated that it had received an application from few disgruntled individuals on July 1 seeking to register with the so called 2LAPOA. However on July 22, CRPO in its executive council meeting with all VCCs, Head GBs, GBs and frontal organisations have rejected the application for recognition as per Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) Resolution No. 4 dated June 29 thereby terming as ‘Unauthorised body be it individual or a group of individuals having any grievances under the ongoing 2-lane road project, that non is permissible to approach the administrative authorities unless it is routed through its own village council.’ The joint statement therefore stated that 2LAPOA has been dissolved and derecognised and would instantly be treated as unauthorised body for violation of the CRPO resolution.

It stated that CRPO had invited the 2LAPOA for discussion, wherein fervent appeals were made on several occasions to settle any grievances or dispute amicably for the greater interest of the general public. Since the 2LAPOA has defied all appeals, CRPO has considered the 2LAPOA as anti-people of Chozuba range with malicious intent to sabotage and sacrifice the ongoing road project.

CRPO warned 2LPOA not to represent and speak on behalf of the range people or on behalf of the property owners to any concerned authorities as it was neither mandated nor authorised body to represent the people of Chozuba range. It further warned 2LAPOA to desist from making any unethical or provocative statement adding that they would be held fully responsible in the event of any fallout arising out of the issue.
