CRPF officers review security situation in Nagaland

Dimapur, Sep. 8 (EMN): Randeep Datta, PMG, Inspector General of Police (IGP), CRPF of Manipur and Nagaland sector along with DIG (Operations), CRPF, Kohima visited the 173rd Bn CRPF headquarters in Dimapur and other establishments on September 6, to review the overall security situation in Nagaland, an update received on Monday informed.

The officers were briefed by 173rd Bn Commandant Vishnu Gautam on the preparedness of CRPF in performance of their assigned duties in Nagaland. The IGP expressed satisfaction on the commitment and preparedness of CRPF in the state. He complimented the troops for their sustained hard work, professionalism and devotion to duty.

The IGP will hold several meetings with other security agencies in Dimapur and Kohima, it informed.

Datta along with 173rd Bn CRPF personnel and family members took part in the Fit India Movement at the headquarters.

The Fit India Movement is a nation-wide movement in India to encourage people to remain healthy and fit by inculcating physical activities and sports in daily live.
