CPWD Superintending Engineer Vikehiezo Tase passes away

KOHIMA — Vikehiezo Tase, the Superintending Engineer of the Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Guwahati, Assam, passed away in an accident during the early hours of Saturday.

He met with the accident in Guwahati while en route to Kohima, as usual, to spend the weekend with his family. The body of Tase, aged 49, was transported to the state capital on Saturday evening.

The funeral will take place on Sunday at 1 pm in Jakhama, Kohima. He is survived by his wife and three children.

Tase chose to serve in the CPWD after clearing UPSC, and he was stationed in Imphal, Khatkati, Shillong, Kolkata, and Delhi throughout his career.
