CPO puts restrictions on events for golden jubilee of Phek

DIMAPUR — The Chakhesang Public Organisation (CPO) has announced a restriction on all other programmes, events, and activities by organisations, bodies, and unions under CPO on December 20 and 21 to ensure the success of the golden jubilee celebration of the formation of Phek district.

The CPO mentioned in a press release that the jubilee celebration will take place in Phek town on December 21 and invited everyone to take part in commemorating the historic event.

It reasoned that the restriction is necessary to focus all efforts, resources, and attention on the jubilee celebration and appealed to all individuals, groups, and organisations to cooperate and participate in making the celebration a grand success.

“Let us unite in showcasing the rich cultural heritage, history, and achievements of Phek District over the past fifty years. Your support and active involvement are vital in ensuring that this momentous occasion is celebrated with the pomp and grandeur it deserves,” it read.
