Dimapur, Dec. 29 (EMN): Nagaland recorded six new Covid-19 positive cases on Tuesday, taking the state’s tally to 11,917.

This was informed by the minister for Health and Family Welfare, S Pangnyu Phom.

‘6 positive cases of Covid-19 were detected today: Dimapur-5 and Kohima-1 each. Also, six positive patients have recovered from Dimapur,’ tweeted the minister. 

According to information provided by the Health department, Nagaland has 243 active Covid-19 cases, out of which 219 are asymptomatic, 16 mild, three moderate on oxygen, one severe on oxygen and four on ventilators.

The state has also recorded 11,464 recoveries and 79 deaths, out of which 10 are ‘not Covid-related’.

In regard to district-wise distribution of Covid-19 cases, Dimapur leads with 96 cases, followed by Kohima-82, Mokokchung-45, Peren-8, Kiphire-6, Mon and Phek three each while Wokha, Zunheboto, Tuensang and Longleng have zero cases so far.
