Dimapur, April 27 (EMN): Covid Care Centre (CCC) and Covid-19 Hospital in Longleng was dedicated by Rev. Tialemba Phom, PBCA executive secretary, on April 26 at DIET building new site and officially made operational with immediate effect due to increasing Covid-19 cases in the district.
Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner, Longleng, M Shayung Phom has appreciated Bhumnyu village for coming forward to support the district task force without any reservations as the Covid Care Centre and Covid-19 Hospital falls within the village land.
A DIPR report stated that the medical superintendent, Dr. Lhouvizotuo, presented the status report of the CCC and Covid-19 Hospital and informed that the hospital has a total capacity of 17 beds, one operation theatre (OT), one labour room, one laboratory and two ICU beds, while the Covid-19 Care Centre has a total capacity of 9 beds.
Dr. Imnameren Phom, DPO (RCH & UIP) and district media spokesperson for Covid-19 vaccination, highlighted the ongoing vaccination Programme.
The program was chaired by Ruokuosetuo Tetso, EAC Headquarter, Longleng.
