We know there aren’t enough Intensive Care Units;
We know there aren’t enough medics;
We know there aren’t foolproof protocols nor ability to follow even if we did;
We know there are no medicines that is Covid-19 specific;
We know, No Government can be prepared enough to handle an pandemic,
Which is why a pandemic disease becomes a pandemic;

We the youth risks being carriers (without showing classic symptoms); We the youth risks infecting the more vulnerable elderly if we are not careful: Let us try to follow all instructions and restrictions made by Health Authorities.

Youth are supposedly less susceptible; hence we should carry the load to help prevent the spread of the disease; create more awareness and compliance. It will be a great encouragement to the medics, government or private; to the administration; if we do chip in through our various organizations: Use Organizational reach to spread awareness and compliance to instructions and restrictions prescribed by the Authorities.

Youths in Prime

We need to step in, and step up our efforts,
For each one has a role, for the chain to break!
Many areas exists where we can lend our support,
Youth Bodies can make a difference.

There are options we can we can take,
But that may decrease with time.
There are choices we may make,
They will buy us precious time.

If do’s and don’ts are publicly announced in villages and colonies,
If some areas are installed with temporary hand-washing facilities!
If some vigilance is done in priority sites,
If we remember our medics with a cup of tea and biscuit-bite!

Let’s make our choices and take our options,
Let’s activate our body, mind and become active players!
The time is here to show we are an organisation,
Together this pandemic can be countered!
