Dimapur, April 28 (EMN): The Medical department, Peren organised a training programme for police personnel, ASHAs and Anganwadi workers at ADC Jalukie, Conference Hall on April 28 with DSO, Dr. Kevi Meyase; MO CHC Jalukie, Dr. Albert; and DIO, Dr. Asangla as resource persons.

The participants were trained on different topics, including cluster containment strategy and community surveillance, Covid-19 contact line listing, house-to-house search of suspected coronavirus cases in a cluster, daily reporting format for supervisor/block, contact listing and follow-up for frontline health workers and Covid-19 dead body management, informed a statement from DIPR.

A demonstration on ‘proper hand washing technique and donning and doffing of PPE’ was also held during the training programme, which was organised to make the frontline workers aware on how to handle Covid-19 patients if positive cases are detected in the district.
