Dimapur, May 21 (EMN): The total number of samples sent for suspected Covid-19 testing from Nagaland crossed the thousand mark on Thursday.
According to Home Commissioner Abhijit Sinha, the total number of sample stood at 1001, out of which 978 have returned negative.
The remaining 23 samples await confirmation.
He also informed that the state government has decided to “again provide an opportunity to the citizens of Nagaland stranded outside and desiring to return, to voluntarily opt for staying back at their present place of residence by registering on the portal iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in if not done earlier”.
Such persons would be provided a one-time assistance of INR 10,000, he added. “Further details regarding this will be shortly made available on the iamstranded.nagaland.gov.in portal,” Sinha said.
