Dimapur, Nov. 24 (EMN): Postal services in Nagaland will not function on Thursday, November 26, as the employees are set to participate in the nationwide one-day strike called by the National Federation of Postal Employees.
A press release from the Nagaland division of All India Postal Employee’s Union informed that all public transactions in the post office across Nagaland will remain closed on November 26.
It informed that the strike has been called in support of the employees’ charter of demands, which include scraping the new pension scheme and the freezing of DA/DR, filling up of all vacant posts etc.
