Cosmos Women Livelihoods and Credit Cooperative Society in Pfutsero holds its ninth AGM and opens Federation Hut.

DIMAPUR — The Cosmos Women Livelihoods and Credit Cooperative Society Ltd., Pfütsero, held its ninth annual general meeting (AGM) and inaugurated the Federation Hut on July 18.
Project Director-cum-District Mission Manager of District Mission Management Unit, Nagaland State Rural Livelihoods Mission, District Rural Development Agency, Phek, Zhoi Lohe, attended the occasion as the special guest, according to an update.
The programme was also attended by various dignitaries, including BDO-cum-BMM RD Block Pfütsero Vekhrolo Koza; Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies Pfütsero Marlong Longkumer; and Assistant District Program Manager NSRLM Phek Zhalie Puro.
In his address, Zhoi Lohe highlighted the importance of putting God first, working as an organisation with humility, and serving in the interest of all while setting aside selfish interests.

Vekhrolo Koza congratulated the federation for taking up various initiatives to address the needs of its member households and institutions. Marlong Longkumer encouraged the society to be a genuine cooperative society and look forward to converging activities for the upliftment of the community.

President of the federation Wepretso-ü Kupa expressed her gratitude for the support received during both good and challenging times during her tenure and encouraged members to extend continuous support to the new office-bearers.
The meeting was the first AGM of the society since being registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, 2017.
The first session of the meeting was led by Vehutalu Ritse, during which sub-committees such as Social Action and Mobilisation; Loan Finance and Funds Management; Monitoring, Procurement and Purchase; Asset Verification; Livelihoods and Skills Promotion; and Community Managed Training Centre presented their activity reports for the financial year 2025-26 and plans for 2026-27.
The second session featured discussions and the approval of the annual plans. A special song was presented by Krowaü Mero, after which Convenor of Election Committee, Puhulu Rose, announced the induction of the newly elected office bearers.
