Coordination meeting on mock drill held in Chümoukedima

DIMAPUR — In view of the upcoming 7th edition of annual Nagaland Emergency Preparation Exercise (NEPEx) 2024, a coordination meeting of various departments was held at the deputy commissioner's office in Chümoukedima on October 20.

The deputy commissioner of Chümoukedima, Polan John, who chaired the meeting, urged the officials o ensure effective collaboration and preparedness among all concerned departments, stated a DIPR report.

He informed that the mock drill, aimed at enhancing disaster response and management capabilities, would involve multiple agencies working together to simulate emergency scenarios.

He further emphasised the importance of inter-departmental coordination to ensure success of the drill and urged all departments to actively engage in the preparation process and ensure that their personnel and equipment are ready for the drill.
