Mokokchung, July 17 (EMN): An inter-district coordination meeting between the officials of the District Administration, Police, and Forest Department of Mokokchung and Jorhat districts was held at the RK School Conference Hall, Tuli, Mokokchung on July 16.
Deputy Commissioner, Mokokchung, Shashank Pratap Singh, SP Mokokchung Aotula T Imchen, Sentitula DFO Mkg, along with ADC Tuli, ADC Mangkolemba, EAC Longchem, SDPO Tuli, and SDPO Mangkolemba represented Mokokchung district while Jorhat district was represented by AK Barman, Deputy Commissioner, Mohanlal Meena SP, Nandkumaran DFO Jorhat along with ADC Jorhat, Circle Officer Mariani, Circle Officer Teok, SDO (C), and SDPO, Titabor.
During the meeting, the officials discussed several pertinent issues including maintenance of peace and tranquility at the inter-state border of Mokokchung and Jorhat districts, and resolved to continue extending support and cooperation to each other in maintaining status quo.
During the meeting, DC Mokokchung urged the Jorhat district administration to refrain from taking unilateral actions which may aggravate tension and create a law and order situation along the border.
