Sticker launched in Imphal

Meanwhile, a day after unveiling the logo and tagline “Nyay Ka Haq Milne Tak” ahead of the ‘Manipur to Mumbai’ ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra,’ which is set to begin on January 14 from Manipur, a sticker to promote the yatra was formally launched in Imphal on Sunday.

The All India Congress Committee’s (AICC) Manipur state in-charge Girish Chodankar, president of the Manipur Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) Keisham Meghachandra, former chief minister Okram Ibobi, Congress Working Committee member Gaikhangam and others were present during the launching event held at Congress Bhavan.

Speaking on the occasion, Ibobi stated that the yatra led by Rahul Gandhi from Manipur will be historic, and that it demonstrates Gandhi’s concern for the state during this difficult time. He also noted that law and order in Manipur has completely failed, as has the constitutional machinery.

Maintaining that not only AICC chief Mallikarjun Kharge but also Congress leaders from other states may attend the event in Imphal, he also requested cooperation from the people of Manipur in hosting the start of the yatra from Manipur.
