The magnificent M.C. Mary Kom; wife to one but darling to the whole country did it again to win her first Asian Game Gold medal adding a new variety to her collection of five Gold medals in the World Women Boxing Championship. It is unfortunate that during her peak the Woman boxing was not yet introduced in the Asian and Olympic Games otherwise she would have surely won an Olympic Gold. Her final Gold frontier is Olympic Gold at the 2016 Rio Olympics to complete the Gold strike at the three circuits of, World Cup, Asian Games and the Olympic Games after which she may hang up her gloves. She is fighting the odds of motherhood (bringing up three children) and playing in higher weight category of 51 kgs as her weight category of 48 kgs is not yet introduced in the Asiad and the Olympics.
Let us all pray to Almighty God to grant her good health and wish her all the best in her striving for Gold at 2016 Rio Olympics.
