[dropcap]T[/dropcap]housand languages my eyes speaks,
Millions of sins my eyes committed;
How many have I sinned against?
Must I defile myself by my eyes?
Am I blind like the others?
Or do I see like the one’s who sees;
Must I abuse my eyes by what I see?
Caring not for those whom I love,
Will I be cruel enough to destroy them?
My eyes looks at what I write now
And thinks of what I did then;
Can I say my eyes has not sinned?
Haven’t I seen Eve?
If I had how could I lie?
I cannot lie to the Maker,
Neither can you,
I’ve sinned; so have you
Your sins are not my sins,
Neither are yours mine;
The stains of our sins;
Speaks a language against us,
If our sins are against us,
Who can forgive us?
Only God, Only Christ can:
As we had sinned, we must confess
As we had fallen, we must rise;
This truth is for us,
If anyone has eyes let them see this;
If God is for us,
Who can be against us?
If we are for God
How could we sin against God?
We will either be for Him
Or be against Him:
The language of God
Is the Holy Spirit,
We are a picture of the Language of God.
Job 31: 1 “I made a covenant with my eyes not to look lustfully at a girl.
Job 31: 9-12 “ If my heart has been enticed by a woman, or if I have lurked at my neighbor’s door, them may my wife grind another’s man grain, and may other men sleep with her. For that would have been shameful, a sin to be judged. It is a fire that burns to Destruction, it would have uprooted my harvest”.
Psalm 101:3 – I will set my eyes before no vile thing…
Psalms 119:11- I have hidden your word in my heart that I might not sin against you.
Habakkuk 1:13a- Your eyes are too pure to look on evil; you cannot tolerate wrong.
Matthew 5: 28-29- But I tell you that anyone who looks at a woman lustfully has already committed adultery with her in his heart. If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than your whole body to be thrown into hell.
Matthew 5:8- Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.
John 15:3- You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you.
