In this current scenario students are pulling out all the stops to get an edge over the others and the highly aspirant students strived hard to outshine their peers. Amidst the challenges toppers strategised and prepared for their exam.

Present Trend Challenges

Different skills are needed in this present scenario. Some of the important features are: globalisation, automation, and changing organisational structures that demands a new kind of workforce. Specialisation and skills now play an important role in defining the job market, and the responsibility of creating tomorrow’s technology leaders, innovators and inventors has now fallen on the shoulders of educators. The students need new knowledge and updated skills to real world situations. They need to develop a broad set of in-demand competencies, which include the ability to think critically, solve new problems, develop skills for communication and collaboration, create new tools to use technologies and ability to adapt to change swiftly.

Future of Education– “The function of education is to teach one to think intensively and to think critically. Intelligence plus character- that is the goal of education” (Martin Luther). Student strengths and competencies will form on the basis of informative assessments and on the student’s inborn abilities and capabilities. Education in the future will still be an essential way to help student acquire critical thinking skills. Technology will play a significant role in helping educators. Distance learning will be the norm and project work, internships and experiential learning will become more prevalent. New opportunities will arise as technology paves a completely new path for the brave new world. However, critical and innovative thinking skills will remain essential and education will continue to stand-in that. Future of education provides, interdisciplinary curriculum, to ensure students mastery of essential skills and content. To, stimulate and develop curiosity, problem solving and collaborative skills, persuasive communication and deep thinking, creative and social intelligence skills of empathy, sharing, caring, assisting and service mindedness.

Competitive Exams and Challenges

The most important thing is clarity of concepts and regular practice in problem solving. Solving previous years’ papers on regular basis will keep the aspirants target- oriented and focused. It gives a good idea about the time needed to solve the paper.  Self- study is a very effective tool to succeed in any exam. It will help you in broadening your vision and make you more motivated. Toppers and coaching experts agree that aspirants who study on their own are able to crack the exam easily. In the preparation phase aspirants need to have complete confidence, make a commitment that you have to crack this exam with a good rank, should be cool, not stressed out. Social Media is among the biggest distractions especially for the students preparing for exams. Aspirants should stay away from social network and focus on their study during the preparation. However, media can be used for discussion with their teachers and queries for doubts.

Career Challenge: choosing a career usually comes after choosing the right subject and courses. If students do not pick the right course, it would inadvertently affect their career choice. Industry needs bright, talented, well-prepared graduates to join the workforce, while academia requires insight into industry’s need. Research work in universities is taken up by industry and turned into products. High performance teams require a common and shared understanding of the vision and needs to be accomplished. Typically, organisations have one corporate language and employees who are less fluent in the language of the majority are unable to express themselves effectively. This can result in feeling isolated and excluded from the rest of the group, their contribution to the task at hand can suffer and overall team performance can be negatively impacted. Exposure to people from other languages can improve the comprehension of the differences in how people think and thus prepare individuals to interact and work better in a diverse team environment.

Whereas, to increase your level of competence in any field, you will require to develop, soft skills, technical skills, interpersonal skills, critical thinking skills, communication, or strategic thinking skills. This means you need to focus on continuous learning. Striving for excellence demands self-disciplined, time management, finding a mentor, setting goals, ask for feedback consistently, practicing till you become competent in the subject.
