Community house inaugurated in Mokokchung

MOKOKCHUNG — A community hall dubbed as ‘EBA-EÜV KI,’ constructed by Chungtia Union Mokokchung Town for all citizens of Chungtia village was inaugurated at Arkong Ward in Mokokchung town on Saturday.

The building was inaugurated by Nokchasashi, joint secretary of Health and Family Welfare, Government of Nagaland.

Speaking at the inaugural programme, Nokchasashi recalled the hard work culture practiced by their forefathers. He encouraged the people of Chungtia to follow the legacy of their ancestor by imbibing the culture of hard work and honesty.

He encouraged the gathering to work towards benefiting both themselves and society as a whole, stressing the importance of economic stability by coping with global growth.

Nokchasashi also emphasised the importance of promoting the rich cultural heritage of the ancestors. Besides, he encouraged Chungtia villagers and the Ao Nagas to strive for balance in all their endeavours by seeking divine guidance.
