[dropcap]I[/dropcap]n India today, it has been proved beyond any reasonable doubt that rampant communalism is becoming like the wild fire! The government in power has totally forgotten that India is a land of “Unity in diversity” and not uniformity in religion as conceived by Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the Nation. In theory the NDA government continues to unite India under one nation theory, but in practice, she is trying to make India a purely Hindu country which is directly against the principle of secularism with equal respect to all religions. This is totally unconstitutional, illegal and unacceptable to the law abiding citizens of India. It may be recalled that within a short duration of 100 days of Modi in office, there have been 600 cases of communal violence against the religious minorities, namely, Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Jains and Atheists from across the country. Christian researches have confirmed that there have been 78 cases of communal violence against them within six months of NDA government in office. The minority communities today are critically questioning as to whether the government is only for the 80 per cent majority hindus. If so, where will the 20 per cent minorities stay? Are they made foreigners in their own mother-land?
If NDA government wants to make India a holistically developed country, she must develop the senseless, inhuman, uncivilized, fanatic and extremists Indians led by RSS, Bajrang dal, Sangh Parivar and others to a more developed, sensible, human, civilized and middle path secular Indians. She must stop unequal treatment of Indians on the basis of religions. Mind you, the Constitution, the supreme law of the country promised to deliver to justice, liberty, equality and fraternity to all Indians irrespective of caste, creed and religions. Under the aforesaid holy book, you have all taken oath of allegiance when you entered the new office. Hence, keep your sacred promise to the nation. Do not betray yourself and the nation. People of India are now fully mature to understand the working system of parliamentary democracy. Do not fool them like children of three years. They are as old as 67 years.
If America, the oldest democracy of the world with multiracial, multilingual, multicultural and multi political parties can become a fully developed super-power number one through their unity in diversity, why not India, the biggest democracy. Modi, keep in mind, “everything too much is bad” so also your intoxication with Hindu religion must be stopped if you want to be the best Prime Minister of India. Otherwise, you may become the worst Prime Minister worse than Dr. Manmohan Singh within ten years in office. Hence, abide by the core principle of the Constitution, the only holy book of the Indians. Otherwise, you better resign on moral ground for condemning the Constitution. All the best.
