Dimapur, Sep. 26 (EMN): The Sunrise Colony of Burma Camp Dimapur have finally reached the doors of the court in its pursuit to relocate the Dimapur Municipal Council's dumping ground from their locality.
In a press release from the colony received along with a copy of the court papers, it was made known that PIL has been filed at the Kohima bench of the Gauhati High Court.
The press release also stated that after colony had earlier called of their agitation against dumping ground on August 11, 2017 on assurance from the parl. secy for municipal affairs would meet the colony representatives.
However it stated that the there was "no positive outcome" from the meeting and so the colony had no other option but to approach the court.
