Dimapur, Aug. 11 (EMN): A day after it undertook a state-wide protest, the All Nagaland College Students' Union (ANCSU) has reaffirmed that no college student in Nagaland will be attending class until the state’s government addresses the charter of demands submitted to the chief minister on August 10.
The union issued a statement on Saturday requesting college authorities to understand the ‘genuine’ demands of the college students. “The union also acknowledge and appreciate the outstanding support given by the college's authorities thus far.
“As and when the state government addresses the genuine need and demand of the college students positively, ANCSU through print media and college students union will intimate the students for resumption on attending classes. Any college students defying the call of ANCSU shall be dealt seriously as the volunteers will be vigilantly monitoring the institutions,” it stated.
