Dimapur, Sep. 3 (EMN): With the Nagaland University conducting undergraduate online examination on September 21 to October 20, the All Nagaland Government College Teachers’ Association (ANGCTA) and the All Nagaland College Students’ Union (ANCSU) have appealed to competent authorities and telecom service providers to ensure uninterrupted power supply and internet connection during the examination period throughout the state.

The success of online examination is solely dependent on the regular power supply and internet connection, stated the press release issued by the presidents of the two unions.

“Both the teachers and students are apprehensive in the first instance to have online exams due to many herculean challenges in state. However, with no sign of respite from the pandemic and the Supreme Court judgment that final examination has to be conducted through online, the only alternative and safest mode for the interest of the students as well as the institutions,” it stated.

The unions also ‘urged the public to collectively bear the responsibilities for the growth of the state and its citizens’.
