CNWA, Watsü Mungdang holds consultative meeting
MOKOKCHUNG — The Central Nagaland Women Association (CNWA) and Watsü Mungdang held a consultative meeting at the Watsü Mungdang office in Mokokchung on Wednesday.
Speaking at the event, CNWA President K Atoli Sema emphasised the importance of unity among the women’s groups of the three tribes and encouraged mutual support to advance the women.

She commended Watsü Mungdang for its commendable initiative in promoting clean elections and for organising a common platform for the contestants, which she believes will have a lasting impact in the future.
The ULB election, scheduled to be held on July 26, 2024, will cover 418 wards, with 142 reserved for women. In Mokokchung, there are 16 wards reserved for women.
