DIMAPUR — Central Nagaland Tribes Council (CNTC) organised a special programme to felicitate the CNTC legislators of the 14th Nagaland Legislative Assembly in Chümoukedima on August 18.
The programme was chaired by its general secretary, Capt. GK Zhimomi, while its secretary, L Yanger Imsong, recorded the proceedings and a prayer of blessings was said by Rev. Robert Kikon, senior minister of Father’s House Church Global, Chümoukedima.
An update from CNTC stated that the opening address was delivered by its president, Khondao Ngully, and felicitation of legislators was done by its vice president, Hekhushe Shikhu.
Greetings on behalf of Ao Senden, Lotha Hoho and Sumi Hoho were delivered by Chubawati Longchar, president of Ao Senden; Tsibonthung Murry, general secretary of Lotha Hoho; and I Nikheto Jimomi, president of Sumi Hoho.
It added that speeches were delivered by G Kaito Aye, convenor of CNLF and minister of Roads and Bridges; Imkong L Imchen, co-convenor of CNLF and advisor of IPR, Soil and Water Conservation; and Y Patton, treasurer of CNLF and Deputy Chief Minister; and Tokheho Yepthomi, Lok Sabha MP.
Programme concluded with a mass prayer followed by a feast hosted by MLA Nuklutoshi and family.
