Dimapur, May 31 (EMN): Confederation of Nagaland Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CNCCI) on Tuesday demanded administrators of all urban local bodies to induct representatives from the business fraternity in the advisory committees of the respective ULBs.

CNCCI stated that as per the government order dated September 13, 2021, all administrators have been directed to induct all the presidents of the District Chamber of Commerce and Industry as advisor to ULBs and solicit the advice of the member on matters pertaining to business activities and price fixation.

It therefore asked all ad-hoc town committee, town committee and municipal town administrators to immediately implement the government order for taking decisions with respect to various business related activities.

CNCCI further directed all its confederates ( District Chamber of Commerce) to review prices of all items and ‘pass the benefit to the consumers consequent upon the removal of  intra-state and inter-state check gates’, it read.

It also appealed to the state government to ensure adequate steps and measures are taken for smooth functioning of ULBS and business activities.
