CNA officials pay homage to Isak Chishi

Dimapur, May 2 (EMN): President of the Council of Naga Affairs (CNA), Myanmar, Athong Makury accompanied by Ngukato K Tsuipu and Shatilo Kent visited the graveyard of late Isak Chishi Swu, former chairman of NSCN IM, and paid homage to the departed soul. Athong Makury laid the wreath on the grave of late Chishi on behalf of the Council of Naga Affairs and the people of Eastern Nagalim.
Later, a brief function was held at Chishilimi village which was also attended by elders from Ghathashi town besides leaders from the host village. Athong Makury, in his speech, thanked Chishilimi village for producing such a tall personality for the Nagas across the boundary.
Stating that the legacy of Isak Chishi will live on for ages to come, he encouraged the people of Chishilimi to uphold the legacy of late Isak Chishi Swu and be an example to the Nagas.
President CNA also visited Nagaland for Christ payer house at Ghathashi and was bestowed a prayer by the prayer warriors.
