Nagaland CMO directs ministers, advisors to stay put

Dimapur, March 24 (EMN): The Nagaland chief minister’s office (CMO) has issued an advisory to all the ministers and advisors of the state of Nagaland to avoid social gatherings as part of preventive measures the government of Nagaland is taking against the novel coronavirus in the state.

The notice stated that several guidelines and instructions have been issued by the government regarding the matter regularly.

The health authorities also have advised the people to adopt social distancing measures like restricting meeting, avoiding gatherings, crowds, avoiding public contact, and to stay at home as much as possible.

In line with these recommendations, government ministers and advisors of the state government of Nagaland are advised to avoid public interviews, visit crowded places or attend social and political gathering to eliminate the possibility of contracting and spreading the novel coronavirus.
