Dimapur, Oct 6 (EMN): Maintaining that youth and students shoulder immense responsibility in building the future of the society, State chief minister TR Zeliang urged the youth to uphold principles of good character, honesty and sincerity saying, ‘What we do today will decide the future of tomorrow.’
Zeliang said this while interacting with student leaders at a reception programme organised by Chare Students’ Union on October 6 en-route to Tuensang town.
Emphasising on immense potentiality of the youth towards building a better society, Zeliang called upon the youth to uphold the principles of good character, honesty and sincerity.
“What we do today will decide the future of tomorrow,” he said.
While urging upon the gathering to work together in unison for a better future, he opined that “whatever loopholes we face in our society today can be addressed in the best possible way if we work together in unison.”
Zeliang was accompanied by Power minister, Kipili Sangtam; Advisor of Planning and Coordination CM Chang; and a host of government dignitaries and public leaders. He is scheduled to grace the 25th edition of Loyem Memorial Senior Soccer Open Championship on the theme, “Exposing the values of games” in Tuensang town on October 7.
