CM Rio appoints chairmen of PSUs, corporations

DIMAPUR: Chief Minister of Nagaland has appointed 10 persons as chairmen of various public sector undertakings (PSUs) and corporations.

As per a notification from the Cabinet Secretary, the appointed persons and the PSUs and corporations they will be heading are Dr. Watizulu Jamir (chairman, DAN), Dr. Neiphrezo Keditsu (chairman, NKVIB), Thongwang Konyak (chairman, NHL), Kuputo Shohe (chairman, NSMDC), Dr. M. Chuba Ao (chairman, MARCOFED), Obed Quinker (chairman, Honey Mission), Wanpong Konyak (chairman, Bio Resource Mission), Supongmeren Hoki (chairman, NEPED), Abu Metha (chairman, IDAN), and Theja Meru (chairman, TaFMA).

The respective departments have been requested to issue formal notification of appointment immediately.

Further, the pay and allowances of the chairmen will be as per Finance Department Office Memorandum No. BUD/11-53/2014-15 dated May 1, 2017, the notification stated.
