Dimapur, July 20 (EMN): The chief minister of Nagaland, Neiphiu Rio, condoled the demise of Rev. Dr. L Tsanso, who passed away on July 19 at Naga Hospital Authority Kohima (NHAK).
Rev. Dr. L Tsanso, who was serving as the executive secretary of Lotha Baptist Church Association Wokha, was one of the ‘most well known Christian leaders in Nagaland’, Rio said.
He shared that Tsanso was a learned theologian, a visionary church leader and a good preacher.
During the last years of his tenure as executive secretary of Lotha Baptist Church Association, Rio said he carried out several improvements in the administrative set up and the physical infrastructure of the Lotha Baptist Church Association, Vankosung, Wokha.
“His death is a great loss for the Christian community of Nagaland in general, and for the Lotha community in particular. May his devout Christian life and his good works continue to inspire present and future generations of Christians in Nagaland,” it read.
The chief minister further conveyed condolences to the members of the bereaved family.
