Club 147 to host final competition of Nagaland Snooker Championship

Kohima, March 11 (EMN): The Cue Association of Nagaland (CAN) has announced that it will conduct the final competition of Nagaland Snooker Ranking Championship season one from April 7 to the 10th at Club 147 in Kohima.

CAN’s president Yangertemjen along with general secretary Seyiekhrielie Rame and treasurer Menuoletuo Keyho informed this to Eastern Mirror on Thursday.

It was informed that total prize money of INR 60,000 had been set aside for the winners along with a glittering trophy and citations.

In the meantime, the association has also informed all the six clubs of CAN to hold their respective qualification tournaments on or before March 20.

Following the qualification tournament, four players each will represent Club 147, Club Area 51, Q’ Lounge Club, Baulkine Club, and Atou Snooker Club from Kohima and Dimapur’s lone Boulevard Club will also send four players to vie for the first ranking championship.

It may be mentioned that the first competition of the ranking tournament was held at Club Area 51 in Kohima, while second at Boulevard Club in Dimapur in 2019 and 2020 respectively.
