Dimapur, May 25 (EMN): All scheduled flights to Dimapur have been cancelled till May 27 from Kolkata due to cyclone Amphan, according to Dimapur Airport authorities.

Speaking to Eastern Mirror, the director of Dimapur Airport, Mughavi Zhimo informed that flight operations will resume from May 28.

“As per West Bengal government’s directive, all flights have been cancelled because of cyclone Amphan,” said Zhimo.

The director said Amphan has affected the airport in Kolkata, and restoration works are still in progress.

It was informed that Air India and Alliance Air flights would resume after May 27.

It may be mentioned that earlier this week, the central government had decided to resume all domestic air travel from Monday (May 25) in the country.
