Kohima, Nov 1 (EMN): The 24th edition of the Classic Cup will begin at the Khuochiezie, Kohima local ground on the theme ‘live it up’ on November 2.
The tournament will be inaugurated by MLA Chotisuh while welcome address will be delivered by K Neibou Sekhose, president of Classic Cup during the inaugural ceremony.
The organisers have informed that the gallery ticket is priced at INR 20 till the quarterfinal matches. The winners will walk home with a cash prize of INR 1,50,000, while the runners-up will receive a cash of INR 80,000 besides the individual awards.
Barak FC, the winner of the 23rd edition will not be taking part as 23 teams from the state will vie for the coveted trophy which will conclude on Nov. 19. The opening match will be played between Kohima Bible College and Brotherhood FC
