A team of students from the Mission Committee of Clark Theological College Students’ Union (CTCSU) in Aolijen paid a visit to Assam Valley Baptist Mission on Saturday at the latter’s headquarter at Nakachari in Jorhat district of Assam.
The two groups conducted a combined fellowship during the event, a note from the union stated on Saturday.
“It is worth to mention here that since the year 2012, the students of Clark Theological College have been visiting the churches under the syllabi of CTC Holistic program located in the foothills of Assam-Nagaland sector which have been collaborated under the aegis of the Assam Valley Baptist Mission. This arrangement has been found to be very beneficial for both the stack holder and continuing to date,” the union informed.
The CTCSU mission committee comprised Apotho Poji, Tanwang, Moazungla Longchar, T Shongmeth, Aghali Swu and Akangtemsu Yaden.
While welcoming the guests during the event, the president of the Assam Valley Baptist Mission appreciated the proactive role played by the visiting group led by the faculty and staff of the CTC students’ organization “for the last couple of years for meaningfully stack holding with the mission and hoped to keep continuance of this good bonding.”
Nimrudh Mandal, evangelist with the Assam Valley Baptist Mission presided over the day’s combined prayer fellowship. Members of the CTC team shared their testimonies during the program besides other presentations. Apotho Poji spoke based on scriptures in the Bible.
