CJM constitutes Destruction Committee; seized IMFL to be destroyed today

Dimapur, August 7 (EMN): As per the application received from the ASI Lengyei, investigation officer of the case through the officer-in-charge of West Police Station, Dimapur for pre-trial destruction of the seized IMFL in connection with G.R-486/2017 of West P.S. case No.0092/2017 U/s 44 (a) (e) NLTP Act, Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) Dimapur has constituted the Destruction Committee. The committee members included Chief Judicial Magistrate Dimapur as chairman, Public Prosecutor Dimapur, Sub-division Officer (Civil), Dimapur, president of Dimapur Bar Association, Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime), Dimapur Naga Women Hoho, Prosecuting Inspector Dimapur and OCE West PS as members. Chief Judicial Magistrate Dimapur, Ajongba Imchen, has informed that the 1000 cases of assorted IMFL which were recovered from LRC colony, Dimapur will be destroyed at Dimapur Municipal Council (DMC) dumping site on August 8 at 3 p.m. The CJM also informed that the Commissioner Police of Dimapur will provide a vehicle to transport the seized IMFL from West Police Station, Dimapur to the destruction site if required. OC police West Police station shall made necessary arrangement including JCB etc. All committee members have been requested to reach the destruction site on time.
