DIMAPUR — With an objective to understand various behaviours and consequences related to mental health issues, City Law College, Dimapur, has organised an awareness programme on mental health at its Moot Court hall on November 6.
An update from the college stated that Lovitoli Awomi, M.Sc degree holder in counseling psychology with specialisation in marriage and family counseling, adolescence education programme (AEP) and founder of LAPIYE Centre for mental health well-being, was the resource person.
It stated that Awomi spoke on the theme “Breaking the silence; embracing mental health well-being” by highlighting the various types of personality disorders and bad effects of stress and emotional ill-health as the core reason for substance abuse and other bad habits like porn addiction, digital addiction and so on.
It stated that held interactive session with the resource person by putting up various questions as per their understanding and needs.
It further stated that students and faculty members attended the programme.
