CIHSR College of Nursing to host national conference

DIMAPUR — The College of Nursing at Christian Institute of Health Sciences and Research (CIHSR), Chümoukedima, will host the national nursing conference on April 11 and 12 at CIHSR campus on the theme “Changing landscape of nursing: Preparing nurses for the future.”

The conference is being organised with an aim to celebrate the vital role nurses play in healthcare delivery while addressing the challenges and opportunities facing the profession.

An update from the college stated that the delegates attending the conference could expect an enriching programme featuring keynote presentations from renowned nursing experts, panel discussions, scientific paper presentation, networking opportunities and pre and post conference interactive workshops.

“This transformative event will equip nurses with the knowledge and skills needed to navigate the changing landscape of modern healthcare, enhance quality education, advance nursing practice and research and thereby shape the future of healthcare,” the statement read.

It informed that the conference will be opened to nurses across all specialties, nurse educators, researchers, healthcare administrators, and policymakers. While registration has been closed, it, however, informed that on-the-spot registrations would be available for interested nursing professionals.
